He served two years in France around 1918 (very end of the war). The engraving is on the back of the watch and it reads: "Warner T. The movement having a hinged protective cover (cuvette) decorated with Omega Exhibition medals.A rare 1914, silver vintage Omega ‘WW1 Trench’ watch. The case measures 32mm in diameter with 14mm lug size. The case is signed Omega, marked 0.935, silver and numbered. The manual wind, calibre 13, movement is signed Omega, with 15 .High quality Omega Trench Watch from WW1. Triple signed Omega on the dial, movement (front and back plates) and on the case. Solid Silver Swiss made case with French import ‘Swan’ hallmarks on the inside the rear cover and dust cover and on one lug. ‘B & Freres’ stamp on inside rear cover.
