If you've never considered the Halzan 31, I think it's a great "entry-level" everyday practical bag to try.and the best part, you can typically find it preloved for under the current retail. I’ve tried on a Halzan 31 a few times and have never been able to quite pull the trigger. For me, the strap on its longest setting isn't *quite* long enough for crossbody wear. This is very subjective and others may feel differently, especially now that crossbodies are being worn higher up on the body.

The 31 jypsiere is a bit heavier and feels more substantial. It's more like a Kelly/Birkin. My Halzan is the original style that is unfinished on the inside, so I view it more like an Evelyne. The one feature I don't like about the Halzan is that the 4 outer pocket are identical, so I'm always fumbling to remember in which pocket that I put stuff. 2,088. 2,265. Feb 6, 2024. #1. Today I was chatting to my SA and admired a Halzan on the display and happened to mention it was still on my radar and hoped for a 31. He then informed me the Halzan is being discontinued. I'm really sad about this as its a really practical under the radar bag with the option for cross body as well as hand carry, an option . Thank you! I love the color you chose - both bag and insert! Do you notice it leaving imprints on your bag or sticking out? If you are really worried about rain, get it in barenia. Water does not leave any marks on barenia. I have a halzan 31 in both clemence and barenia. The one in clemence is more slouchy but made of pretty tough leather. It does not scratch or scuff easily. On the other hand, my barenia halzan has more structure and can be used in the rain.

If you are really worried about rain, get it in barenia. Water does not leave any marks on barenia. I have a halzan 31 in both clemence and barenia.
