One thing that always annoys me with the Rolex non-fliplock clasps is how loose they tend to come from the factory. I've encountered this with both rep and gen, and here is a quick 1 minute fix that works with both. 1) Open the clasp up to reveal the hinged clasp blades as depicted in the image below. Video demonstrating how to adjust (tighten) the closing force on the clasp on your Rolex (or other similar watch) when it opens too easily.
If the clasp on your watch isn't staying closed, there may be a quick fix that you can do on your own. Don't feel disappointed that your clasp is broken, chances are that it's not broken at all and simply needs bent back into shape! Almost every type of fold over clasp has a possibility.
